How we launched a product and increased revenue performace
The client:
Deloitte provides audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies. We worked on the launch of a new product, Propel. Empowered by best-in-class technology, Propel not only delivers accounting services for start-ups and SMEs with seamless processing, but also provides a real-time dashboard for proactive monitoring of performances, and a range of advisory support to better plan for tomorrow.
How we helped:
For the website project we used our extensive experience in working on large B2B client marketing campaigns to create a website that focused on clarity of product, ease of navigation and full conversion visibility across performance analytics. We worked closely with the marketing team, the business team as well as the developers to ensure a seamless translation between commercial requirements and technical delivery.
This work naturally led to us managing the outbound marketing efforts to drive incoming traffic and conversions to the site. We undertook content creation, paid search and media purchasing to get results, all of which tracked through integrated performance measurement tools including Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor and Salesforce. We also provided search and selection expertise for a range of partnership arrangements including crowdfunding platforms and outsourced outbound sales specialists.
As the work evolved our scope changed into a CMO type role where we designed, researched and consulted on long term strategy. Plus we advised on the go-to-market strategy for the development and launch of a new technology product into the small business market.
The impact:
Commercial performance improved exponentially as both sales volumes increased quarter by quarter. Revenue performance increased by threefold compared to the start of our work with the team to the end of our contract. The CMO work on the product launch also ensured a fully researched, scoped and agile rollout of a new product.
